writing - Leadership article

In writing I have been learning to use a wide range of punctuation appropriately and with increasing accuracy like . , ! ? “”
- colon :
- semi-colon ;
- hyphen -
- parentheses ( )
- brackets [ ]
- ellipses ...

I have been especially focusing on using parentheses and semi-colon. I have highlighted these in green where I have used them as well as other punctuation that I changed because it was used incorrectly. Here is a piece of my writing that shows this.

Trustworthy, one of the leadership traits. It means that you can be relied upon to do what is needed or right ; Sir Edmond Hillary was trustworthy because everyone trusted him to climb till the peak of mount Everest. This trait is important to my role so teachers can trust me to do the flag (up and down) and run the multicultural week assembly.I am gonna demonstrate this trait by making sure the flag is up or down and try my best in the multicultural week assembly and other events. To be trust worthy you need to be honest and fair. good linking

Games with minimal or no equipment.

In PE we have been participating in a variety of games that require little or no equipment.
Below is the Matrix which shows our progression in this unit of learning.

The table below shows my understanding of games with minimal or no equipment.

Examples of Games that need minimal or no equipment.
What equipment would we usually need to play these games.
Why do we play games with minimal or no equipment?
Sneak up granny
Tag games
Duck duck goose
Captains coming
Hunger games
Capture the flag
Cones
Bibs or bands
whistle
we can play them anywhere
little time to setup
can be modified to suit the age and skill of players
they are fast paced and you can play a lot of games in one session.

My Strengths.
Some things that I have done well during this unit of learning are trying my best and being focused because usually I don't try my best.

My Next Steps.
Some things I could improve on when playing games with minimal or no equipment are listen properly Because sometimes I miss out on what the teacher is saying.

  • Square roots of perfect squares.
  • Common factors of numbers to 100, including highest common factor.
  • Least common multiples of numbers to 100.

Here are the IXL screenshots that show evidence of my learning.

My next learning step in Maths is to improve on my basic facts.
